"My husband and I recently moved into our custom built home in Wooway, Texas. After an 18 month building process, we felt that we had covered every detail. However, we immediately felt that we had some lighting problems. After the plantation shutters were installed, we noted several areas of dismal darkness. I launched out to find a solution.

After reading several reviews, I contacted Joe and Daniel Gingerich about the possibility of using Solatubes as a means of lighting the dark area in our hall as well as laundry room. I was totally impressed with their evaluation of the problem as well as their thorough investigation of the possibilities in our attic since our deed restriction code mandates that no devices can be installed on the street side of the houses. They arrived very promptly on the scheduled date and totally covered our new hardwood floors. They worked very efficiently and carefully.

Presto! Within a few hours, our dark hall was illuminated with a natural wash of light. No more dungeon feelings in the laundry room. The impact is tremendous. I was constantly turning on and off the lights prior to the installation. Now, I have natural light throughout the day."
